Fished along Shelburne Shore for the first trip of the year since reconditioning the Sylvan earlier this spring. Got a late start and hit the water around 9:00. Hooked up immediately with an 8# laker around the point. Followed that with a pair of doubles, 4-6 pounders. Wrapped up at 12:30 going 8 for 11 on lakers. Fish were holding at the base of a steep drop in 60' +/- . Lines set at 50',40', 30' and 25'. Spoons were the ticket today. All natural colors worked. Aside from a few equipment malfunctions (you'll have that!), a great first trip. A few repairs this week and we'll hit it again.
