I've seen traces of them for about 10 days.

First encountered them off Hogback/Colchester Reef area. Small build up on the deep line.

Same Monday evening out of Converse.

Had little globs on my dropper loops (fixed cheaters) yesterday evening in Fishville.

Fished out of Westport today. Found them sometiomes, not eveywhere. I have not fished LC near as long as you guys but it sure seems they are showing up earlier every year. When I first started at LC about 6 years ago they did not show until August.

There a bit later this year maybe with the cool water and June temps. we have had. Last year they showed up the earliest a week before the LCI and lasted until mid- October. Hot weather and water temp might be the trigger. My last trip was before the LCI and next one maybe July 21st as priorities shift during this month and next off Champlain. Willoughby is a destination a few trips planned for late July as a guest on a friends boat for some of those fun chrome fish! Ontario isn't too far away!
