I believe it starts April 1st...but I'll double check to verify.
The All season has been changed. It is now called the LCI Champlain Basin Derby and it runs for 50 weeks. Also, it is open to any public waters within the Champlain Basin, not just Lake Champlain.

April 13th. It's all new this year It last til march 31st 2014

Looks like things are pretty settled, but just to add some additional clarification-
50 weeks starting this Saturday, April 13.
15 species.
cash payout to top three heaviest fish in each species - 45 checks in all.
any legal, public body of water within the US portion of the Champlain Basin.
so far about 23 weigh stations signed up. We will be adding to this list to make it more convenient for you as time goes on.
