UVM's Ellen Marsden Named Fellow of American Fisheries Society

Post by popster »

UVM Professor, Ellen Marsden has been named a 2021 Fellow of the American Fisheries Society for her many contributions to the Champlain and Great Lakes fisheries.

Congratulations, Ellen, for receiving this award and for your 30+ years of service. Well deserved. I had the privilege to work with Ellen on her Whitefish and Lake Trout research projects, and we should have more people like her.

We don’t realize enough how lucky Lake Champlain is to have Ellen. Will never forget the trip out on the “Melo” years back…. 1st time I ever seen a skulpin in the lake…

Congrats and well deserved Ellen!
