The Country Angler is out setting lines north of Snake Den right now. Beautiful Morning. Dodger and fly 10 colors o lead on planer board, spoons on riggers.

Just had a release, nobody home. Hammered brass spoon, orange color at 48', pink copper cheater spoon halfway down, don't know which it hit. Changed out the DB smelt on the planer to a black and white speedy shiner, probably 28' down.





Just passed another boat, rounding split rock.

Just saw these guys out here, must not be barking up the totally wrong tree.

Just said hi to Digitroll, hepassed right in front of us. Real nice to be out here with everybody today. Awful big fleet. Heard surprise, homewrecker, and popster talking too.

Just crossed paths with Fins-n-tins a few minutes ago.

So, I started carrying this guy on my boat, since they're mildly territorial, in the hopes of keeping others away.



Well, it only took him 4 hours, but, he finally kicked the other one out if the boat.




Came off of a honeybee MP6, 30 feet down.

Great reports Im home sitting on the couch working 11-7 would have loved to been out on the big pond with all of you best of luck stay safe an tight lines

Just talked with Fishful thinking a bit, nice to see him again.

Well, no skunk for me either. He's silver too, sort of.




Just had another release too in front of the mansion, running 2 paddletail swimbaits on a rigger.

Turns out this was On The Job, after seeing them at the cookout. Lot of black and gray boats out there it seems.

Had a great time at the cookout, and with Liam showing up for that, we ended up going home with more food than we brought!

Which was all good by the way.

I didn't document the barbecue on this thread, I'm sure Randy and the other guys will do a report on that.
