Just had a release, nobody home. Hammered brass spoon, orange color at 48', pink copper cheater spoon halfway down, don't know which it hit. Changed out the DB smelt on the planer to a black and white speedy shiner, probably 28' down.

So, I started carrying this guy on my boat, since they're mildly territorial, in the hopes of keeping others away.

Just passed another boat, rounding split rock.

Turns out this was On The Job, after seeing them at the cookout. Lot of black and gray boats out there it seems.

Had a great time at the cookout, and with Liam showing up for that, we ended up going home with more food than we brought!

Which was all good by the way.

I didn't document the barbecue on this thread, I'm sure Randy and the other guys will do a report on that.

Thank you to Randy and his wife, anybody else who helped put this on. Thanks as well too, to all of you great anglers out there that let us be a part of everything that you guys do. Great time.
