Champlain tatics.

Post by Papatom »

Usually fish north lake george so when i went westport today i was overwhelmed with the fish and bait i marked. What depth tatic do champlainers use to fish trout or salmon when fish are at many various depths?? Never had this issue on george. Is it effective to chase fish by letting out a 100 foot or so then move rigger up or down to the fishes depth as soon as hook appears on graph hoping lure will be at correct depth when it gets to fish.

Thanks

Try #3 HONEYBEES with a number 2 treble if your looking to pull spoons when smelt are the forage of choice.
