5/1/2021 missed the walleye opener this morning because of health issues this afternoon went over to my relatives camp for some anything that bites shore fishing. Fished 1 and half hours landing 14 perch and 8 bass. Fish were aggressive and put up a good fight.
Don't feel too bad about missing the walleye opener this weekend Matt. I think somebody forgot to tell the walleye or something. 5 hours of walleye fishing for us today, and this is the only fish in about 4 miles of drifting for them.

Dilly Worm was out there too, and so were a few other boats. Nobody caught anything that I heard.

5/8/2021 headed across the big pond with my granddaughter alayna ( fishy2) for some shore fishing. When we got there water was high and dirty but she was determined to catch fish and maybe a walleye. Set her up with 2 rods one with a moon eye jig the other with a smelled hook and 2 half ounce sinkers to hold it in the fast current. Alayna had a blast catching a big bullhead a big white perch 1.30 lbs. She Lost a walleye on shore and probably had 2 others on . She had lots of good hits but noone home. I had a great day watching her from my chair.

5/10/2021 headed across the big pond today to meet up with the Erik for some shore fishing with easy access for me. Fish didn't cooperate as I only had 3 bites caught one yellow perch. Erik landed a tench fish and a nice eye. Hope to get back over there and try another spot.
