Hello all!
Its been a long winter... sorry to catch up with everyone in a while! Busy.. busy with work & sportsman shows.
Did take 3 days last week to get out on the Salmon River with the drift boat...hoping to encounter some chrome Steel!! The river has been running a bit higher the last month... but perfect for drifting. That being said there is still a TON of snow over there & the water is still quite cold. This makes for some lethargic & moody fish...but we hook up & land a few! One nice 8 lb fresh hen that my buddy took home for the smoker. Beads & egg sacs taking fish in the slower slack water. No doubt as the weeks go one & the days get longer the fishing will pick up! Will be over a lot in April... keep you all posted! Hoping to get some brown trips in over there as well...really looking forward to it!
