2009 First Frostbite Shootout video (Dedicated to Randy Columb)

Hard to believe it's been 12 years since the that first Shootout and 11 in a row before Covid cancelled it last Fall. Found some old video 45 minutes on a Camcorder by Sony in Hi8 format like a cassette tape. Long before smart phones. My sister Susan Winter deserves a lot of credit filming and doing some interviews with that first ever event!

Nice memories you posted Ron. Thanks Randy for setting up such a fun and enjoyable yearly event. Will love to participate again when permitted.

Added the correct weight (from the original video) for the first Shoot Out and the folks over 20" entered that year. Now in the data base! 35 Total fish over 20" entered in 11 Shootouts!

Great revisit Ron. Hard to imagine we had then already 20 years of Getting Out.

Herb and I started dragging streamers after seeing fish chasing bait in among
the Duck decoys. How fast time goes by!

Hopefully we can have a safe gathering again this coming November.
