Nice work. Lots of work involved.
Next step is to see if the fish like them as much as we do :D

I would recommend a UV Flashlight, to check Fluorescence.

The beauty of tape is that you can easily remove tape and try again.

Try to keep track of light conditions when you find a pattern that works and see if the results are the same the next time you see those same conditions.

Some colors just seem to work better when paired with a specific other color.

Have fun! Remember, if they have never seen it before, it may be the ticket, when everything normal fails.

Thanks guys for the positive comments. I need to get a better air brush for the painted lures. But i will try them out this coming spring for sure. Will keep track of what works and what dont. They are taped then i apply a clear coat over them to protect the tape from fading. I enjoy making them for sure with winter coming there will be more.

They look awesome! I’ve been air brushing some myself, what have you been using for clear coat?

I will have to get the can and will post it for ya. I got it at wal mart in the craft section. I did it in hopes of keeping the tape from fading time will tell i did those spoons mid summer and held up great with it.

Try UV ACRYLIC LACQUER .... Improves tape retention and preserves color and flourescence

Thank you for the input tamiron i will try that. I love this site for one big reason people on here help each other out and dont put them done. I'm on other sites like all of us and most people im not saying all have to be negative. Some are just starting and always have questions but Lake Champlain United members are always their for new members or old members. Thank you for such a great site.
