We returned home to Conn. today, after Friday night's gathering. We turned onto Rte. 103 from Rte. 4, south of Rutland,
and pulled into one of those small parking areas to stretch our legs. What we saw was disgusting! There were TWO piles
of fish dumped on top the snow. Had to be left there this morning as there was no snow atop the piles. One pile was at
least 30 sunfish and calicos. The other pile was nearly the same number of perch, some 12"-13" long. I can't imagine
why anyone would catch that number of fish, then just toss them away. If "whoever" didn't want them, they should have been
released. Or better yet, don't fish at all! I guess we will always run into idiots, including some so-called fishermen.
