I suspect they are all over depending on water temp and wind... I have seen them in the inland sea...Hopefully a chawk who fishes that area will chime in and give you an update from recent conditions..

There are fleas up to the gut at North Hero on the broad lake, and fleas at the south end of the IS

At least the IS isn't as bad as the broad lake! I only found a few on our lines around South Hero last week. I have 40lb test on order, but it still hasn't shown up yet. I don't think I'll fish down around Converse again until I have a topshot of 40 on all of my rods.

Thanks for the reports guys. I was thinking of going after lakers north of Valcour, but might just switch it up to smallies around Georgia shore if the fleas are as plentiful as all are indicating.

I fished IS on Saturday in the trench between Savage and Georgia shore. Some fleas on 14# , not terrible but only did 1 perch and 1 shaker in 1.5hrs.
Apple tree boat launch was a zoo as I figured.

I haven't fished since Friday, but will be out tomorrow. Skylander was out by Providence this week, and reported very few fleas. Don't know if it was a result of wind direction change or hopefully they are dwindling up our way. I've been using 50 lb, so I have no idea, but I'll try my braid in the morning and see. Stay tuned.

Reluctantly spooled up 40 pound mono and fished out of Westport this weekend. Not too much in the way of fleas on the leaders and swivels but then again, I didn’t have many on the day before with my 15 pound mainline either. Mostly small lakers but got into a few decent salmon Sunday afternoon.

Two weeks ago, north of the sister islands, there wasn’t much in the way of fleas and that was after two good blow days out of the south.
Re: Any fleas found north?
Out by Stave, I fished my regular set up, braid for an hour, fleas were thick, but not quite as bad as a month ago. Went back to 50 lb mono. I laker

Fished the cow banks this morning . Boated five small salmon, dropped four others. No fleas!

I fished north of cumberland head late last week and the feas were really bad! i hate to try and deal with 40 lb. mono. Is there any kind of braid that will work?
Re: Any fleas found north?
Same here, fished last weekend north of Cumberland near Isle lamotte and fleas are horrible.

Fished Willsboro bay today. Lots of wind and waves from the north. Whole bay is full of water fleas.
