Old timers big perch trick
When all we are catching is small perch on tip ups we change up and put 2 minnows facing opposite directions on our trebles and normally we will start catching larger perch, assuming they are there. I was a doubter until a friend proved it to me. Give it a try.
See you on the pond!

Interesting trick.
I hate tip-ups and just bartered all mine for venison and a cooler full of "home grown" Black Angus steaks. Now I question myself, but I'll try it with my jig sticks if things are slow.
Thanks for the interesting post.

Catch and serve with lemon.

I'm with you on the tip ups Raz, lots of work and cold hands but they can be productive.
See you on the pond!
