Hit the inland sea by mistake this morning with Theresa and one of our grand kids kids Zac.. we had chilli
Dogs and lots of sun but NO salmon! I’ll let the pics speak for themselves... I’m just too pooped to type.
Zac was able to land a nice master angler jack smelt... other than that we baked in the sun and had fun making videos.... here is a quick video of a big fish who kept digging down... man he was a monnnnstahhh

I fished IS as well. Noon to four. The south wind the last few days has pushed the warm water
north. Tried various spoons and locations. Never had a release. It was a nice day on the water!

Wow, monster smelt, Matt! That must be what we were marking last week! The smelt is encouraging, at least, despite the lack of salmon. Good to know they are in the Sea. I was out Sunday afternoon and couldn't believe the surface was below 50deg in some spots .... back to April conditions.
