HUGHES MARINA:
My home port from 1983 to 2005, when I lived in Webster, NY. Bring your HONEYBEEs. Never pulled
anything else, seldom out-fished on the browns. Nuclear plant pushes warm water east past Hughes. Big Browns through July and plenty of Kings not far off shore especially with an early summer Strong South Wind blowing the warm water off shore.
On average, the browns in these pictures are bigger than the ones that we caught. Obviously, the great King fishing the last few years has allowed a lot of browns to be undisturbed and allowed to get bigger. One of the few times I've missed NY so much!
