I thought we had double-crested cormorants here. This petition is for great blacks.

I looked it up...I suppose you guys are right..there's a difference. I've signed it anyway as this petition seems to be going nearly nationwide on social media sites. Maybe it'll open the door for more control of all invasive fish eaters???

Some good news from the north, the Province of Ontario and Nova Scotia have now allowed hunting these birds. Summary of the article below, the Quebec's Federation of hunters and fishermen is putting pressure on our Ministry to do the same.
