Launched at 6am from apple island with Dreamcatcher and Dave Fount on Friday with only one bass boat at the parking lot....

Set 3 riggers with fixed cheaters on bling down 35, 45 and 55 to start...55 deg was at 50 to start and we saw it go from 45 to 60 depending where we were on the SEA. Set 2 slide divers and a long lead 6 color down the shoot.... fun set for a long troll

We searched and searched and I got a monster white perch to start :| :| like 12” and all of 1.5lbs.... at about 620am....

We trolled the 6 rod set for another hr till Dave finally got into a tussle with some silver... a nice 20” fatty to start the day off...

We then had a good consistent bite mixed with yellow perch white perch and salmon for the next 7hrs!!!!

The hot dogs were bbqed by 9am :? I guess we were hungry...

Kept only 1salmon that was too injured to return... ended up with 8 salmon... all but 2 over 18” and A couple over 20”..

Surface temp at 74 and it made for a good swim at the end...

Fish on!

Salmon eating perch - might be time to take the fire tiger bees out of hibernation

Do you know if there is enough water to pass under the little over pass on route 2 to get out to the main lake from the Apple island boat launch.
Thanks

I think If you are willing to walk it or have an outboard under 18’ you can still do it...

Not sure why, the main lake has so many fleas it is a waste of time imho... every salmon we got yesterday leaped and most multiple times... that’s all I ask for!

We ran 15lb mono on riggers with VERY little spiny spiny water flea buildup. No issue at all...

Thanks for the report Reelax, some interesting details and positive notes in regards to flees. Hoping to get out on the lake next week-end.

Nice report Reelax.

I haven't tried under the bridge in a couple of weeks...it was pretty low at that point.
I think the Malletts side is lower than the Inland side. It would be iffy in anything over a 16 foot boat in my opinion.
