Vermont Public Television invite!
Woahohoho! Check out this E-mail I just received.
Hi Matt,
I host an outdoors show on Vermont Public Television. I'd like to do a show on the Master Class Program, and I noticed that you have entered 10 fish, most of which were caught in the lower Winooski River. If you are interested, I'd like to discuss videoing a segment with you fishing the river for whatever species might be biting.
If you are interested, please reply with your phone number and a good time to call you.
*UPDATE*
Looking to get together with him and his cameraman in a week or two for some footage and an interview. After that, the show will be on TV next season, around March.

Congrats Matt as that is a honor and there are not many fishermen that have such bragging rights.

I just got off the phone with them, looking to meet up for some recording in the next few weeks, weather permitting. He also mentioned Shawn Good being on the segment as well. The airing won't be until next season, around March. It's focused on the Master Angler program and how it promotes fishing of different types of species like Redhorse and Bowfin.

Thanks guys, I'm thinking it will only be a short segment of the episode. Just some footage of me fishing..hopefully landing a fish! Then a quick interview about the program and why I like it, etc etc... I'm looking forward to it though!

Very Cool
Now just remeber to fish in the complete opposite direction of where you normally do for the filming and stress how much of a trike it is to get to your spots.

Lol, good idea. I can see it now ...1/4 a mile away from my usual spots, "now this spot here is where all the big fish are...those spots over there have no fish, let's ignore them".Hairbone wrote:Very Cool

Now that you have hit the big time you will have to have a "Release Party". Maybe it could be a forum event.
