Matt just found out about this, there probably is not a better fisherman to promote the lower Winooski River Basin fishery. Congratulations can’t wait to see it.

Very nice Matt! I'm looking forward to seeing that episode of VPT's Outdoor Journal. There is a lot of good stuff on that program. I've seen a few forum members on the program over the years.

Most likely going to try to do it Friday or Thurs this week if the water drops enough...The day I got the 8 LB LL was the day he said he wouldn't be able to do it haha, just my luck.

Matt has good fortune on his side...and maybe a horseshoe hidden somewhere on his person?
Anyhow, congrats Matt, you've done sooo much better than I have down in the hole.
I've managed one nice steelhead and several smallies, all of which fell one inch shy of entering for the MA program...oh well so goes life, at least my son got enough youth entries on to qualify for his MA, and that's what it's all about isn't it? He was so proud of the couple of certificates the state sent earlier this year.
I'm hopeful that Irene hasn't screwed things up so bad that the rest of his certs and MA pin don't arrive.
Matt will do a fine job representing the rest of us in this forum and sportsmen & women in the state.
I agree with the others posters in don't give away your sweet spot.
