Went to the Blush hill excess fri to work 5 hrs for perch and smelt to find just about nothing for fish 4 smelt 6 small perch for 2 guys trying different spots with in sight of the launch(and 1 coyote). Any one got any pointers as to where to buy bait in that area and a good spot to try near that launch I was after smelt and am from Cambridge? thanks in advance. Kevin

I always got Smelt to the right of the Blush hill launch. There is kind of a bay there, out in front of that in 30+ FOW.

From Cambridge you drive right by The Old Fishing Hole on Route 100/15 in Morrisville next door to Tomlinson's on your way to Waterbury if you don't take the Cady's Falls road in Hyde Park. It takes about 4-5 minutes longer to go through Mo'ville rather than Hyde Park Village.
You can get both the bait and the latest schmooze on where to fish.

They do,but not open until 8 or 9 in the morning.
