While purchasing a new pair last weekend I was told they may be going out of business, any truth to the rumor? Northerner are all I have ever worn for hunting and ice fishing. I sure hope the rumor is false but displayed alongside the Northerners (made in USA) were Servus (made in China) that looked nearly identical, including the price.

Just discovered that they were incorporated with Ranger and Servus. Models 21812 and 21802 (my favorite) are still available for now. Looks like another American made product is going to bite the dust!

I know we all want to buy local, buy American made products but fact is it is increasingly difficult to buy everyday stuff you need or want that is actually made in USA
