Maybe A Start.....

Post by Surprise »

Fished today with my Friend Jay Rogers and left the house a little after 9:00

Splashed at our private launch in Frerrisburgh and headed out North with a spread on riggers with sliders and longlines. Poked our nose out and meet Homewrecker headed south .....

Yack it up with him and the Admiral in Charlotte waiting for a rider Ivan at the Bridge and Fishhuntadventure Mark .

Dean had already landed 2 salmon deep .

My plan today was the old slow troll up the delta into Porter Bay past Swifts to Kingsland to Hawkins and Long Point and Back......

Great Lunch on the ride off the Bistro Table ....

Muffaletta Spread on Baguette & Shrimp, Cucumber & Dill Sour Cream on Butter Cracker washed down with a Effervescent H2O with a Light Lemon Essence Followed by Clementines, Ginger Snaps and Tea.

Well that said ..... No bait & one Really Mad Tasmanian Brown Trout Devil fish on at Swifts Middle dock on till the back of the boat when he/she said NA DA....Copper red head needlefish longline..

Oh well fun while it lasted !

The long & short was ...

Not a fish or bump until we got back to this non discript NY site at 2:00 Pm and we had a double salmon, then all heck broke loose for 45 minutes.

SUTTON #61"s , Needlefish CopCar & Crazy Ivan Fat Buzzy...

Too many salmon & Fish to count exactly but we had to boat and release a quick dozen longline and in back of the boat 5 ft down rigger.

Kept a honker 24 that jumped like a Olympian!, couple browns, 2 small lakers, and a cisco to make a GRAND SLAM...

Oh By the way Jay caught the cisco & a brown on the same rod!

Great day hope it starts !!!!!

By the way all Fish other than the lakers were EMPTY ??

Holy Smokes!!! That was where I set out lines first today. Had two empty releases on the slide diver there but nothing on the high line. Had a lot on the sonar for the next mile north but no takers- went deep the remainder of the day (130' as I said) through the bait. I was well north of there by 2pm as you know.

One of those days I should have turned around and given it a second pass I guess.

Good job and great pics as usual!

That's a heck of a start Randy! You found em! Excellent outing! We knew the fish had to be somewhere. The expanded search finally paid off!
