Stick Baits
Stick baits are very easy to paint. Was not happy with the size selection available on the online lure catalogs and ended up buying directly from China via a website called AliExpress.com It is kind of hard to decipher the sizes and quantities so you have to convert centimeter to inches to give yourself a size idea when ordering lure blanks. The sizes I have correspond to rappala F5 Husky Jerk 6 and a husky jerk 8 These should be great for Champlain spring board fishing. The guy I bought my bought from on Ontario has a 40 pound brown caught on a F5 brown trout pattern so I am painting them up next But, Word on the strret is the Hanburgler will be the hot pattern this year Move over "Sausage Gravy Biscuit"
You can paint your own stick baits if you have an airbrush for about 60 cents each. Sure beat 6-8 bucks

Thanks Jim. Working on 7" stick baits with super sized rattles. Going to try and do an alewive, baby laker & juvenile salmon
