good silver up north

got out yesterday,very bumpy up north but we moterrd down to the ferry and set up and headed to Providence island found bait and fish just south of the ferry and started to work the area set the riggers at 60 and 80 and 5colors of clipped lead not a lot of action as we ended up with 3 silvers and a couple of ciscos but it was a good dayy as we ended up with my buddy Bert getting his best salmon so far 27 inches and 5.8lbs,the waves layed down in the late after noon and Browntown showed up along side good talking to you Mike! lures that worked were a lambykins in a small stinger and pink and silver speedy shiner,speed was between 2 and 2.8 with the waves that we had

Great fish Kevin! Sounds like it was a banner day up and down the lake and at the Salmon Hole. The fish were on the feed with that south wind direction prior to the rain moving in today. Nice to see a few boats spread out and fishing north. The shoot-out will be very competitive this year.
