what i stumbled on one day

Post by Joe Mott »

I used to do a lot of down rigging here on the north end of Champlain. one of my favorite spots were I used to idle down to set my downrigger I sounded a structure on the bottom. about a month later same thing same place. one day I was talking with my nephew who is a diver and showed him the spot on his gps. I knew there was something there but we weren't expecting this!

Really cool pictures looks to be fairly shallow there because of the light going through the water you didn't come across my downrigger balls did you? Ha!

Wow! That is super cool. Is it a charted wreck? If not that's a really interesting and potentially significant discovery.
