Right on...

We got an early start...just after o600
IMG_6073.JPG
left to right; homewrecker, reelax and fishdawg (raz is missing in action: reeling in perch?)
IMG_6081.JPG
Steve...aka fishdawg getting serious with a secret squid rig provided by one of our sponsors...Dockside Outdoors!!!
IMG_6085.JPG
The squid rig won't fire but we gave it plenty of time...
(sorry Ben)
Finally after a gizillion albino perch, a healthy stocker jumps in the boat...
Lots of oohs and awhs...
IMG_6101.JPG
Then another...
and then another that released itself just behind the kicker after doing a few aerial acrobatics.

So Steve the fishdawg and I bailed at noonish.
Reelax and the wrecker headed back out...word on the lake is they're headed for a river mouth.
To rip lips.
Thanks for the fun morning guys...always a good time out on Champlain...always a good time on the Reelax.

I need a nap...

Well we ended up in front of the Lamoile and did more white perch and a master angler trophy yellow tiger trout for homewrecker;)
Image

We also did a nice small mouth, but NO salmon...

Good to see and talk with wildfisherwoman in the morning and Dreamcatcher in the afternoon.

Off the water around 5pm after a nice, fun 11hr trip out with a great crew...

2.5 gal burned on kicker and less than 5 on the big motor... Not bad!

Water nice and clear in mallets outter bay and the IS.

Thanks guys!

Great results guys. A whole lot better than we had down south. It was a beautiful day, and we caught a bunch of yellow perch and a nice pike, but no salmon. We tried deep and shallow.. I was listening on the radio and others down south seemed to have the same luck. I hope you don't mind company down in the IS, as that's where we're heading tomorrow.

Nice. Way to keep the dream alive. 11 hrs on the water and I'd still be rocking back and forth when I wake up in the morning. Looking forward to that time. Prettier fish than crew....

All I can say is what a great crew and good time on the lake. It's always fun to see what the other people are doing out there. The sharing of knowledge and trade secrets is cool. Thanks Matt.....also thanks to the fish gypsy(razzle dazzle aka Gerry) coming to a boat near you soon. and Fishdawg my friend thanks for the great picture.

My daughter and I gave it a shot but only landed the white perch species. We tied up two lines with home made flies. Other than the lack of salmon, it was a perfect day.

Sounds like a good time. My trip was postponed until this afternoon, today. Since I'm only after perch with the little ones, sounds like they're still there! But of course, with my daughter and friend on board, that means I can take some time to add a few extra lines in the water and do a little trolling, right?

Looks like fun guys. I was checking out a machinist in Alburgh. I think I have a plan for the trolling bars.
