Grand Slam

Well I don't post here very often but today was one of those days. My friend and I set out of Converse and motored south of Split rock. Found some nice bait pods and set up. Found temp at 65 ft. First fish was a beautiful 5lb male brown. Good start. After that was a pick of decent salmon and lake trout. Biggest laker was 11 lbs. A couple hours of working this area and we hook up with a nice steelhead which weighed in a touch under 5lbs. to top off the slam. A couple more salmon and we called it a day. Not a mark on the brown, steelie or salmon. Lures were evil eyes, Michigan stingers, speedys and mooselooks. Fish had a good mix of smelt and alewives in them. Hopefully my friend Steve will post a pic or two when he sees this. He's the photographer
