Monday fishing walleye

Post by pierre »

Yesterday Bern and I decided to go walleye fishing near Montreal seaming the condition for salmon was not very good on Lake Champlain right now and what a great move. Some very nice walleyes, most of which had to go back in the lake because they were too big and bass which were not on the fishing agenda but very wel come for the thrill and fight. Here are a few pictures.

WOW.... great fishing Pierre and Bern.
It must be real nice to be able to fish weekdays, when everyone else is working.
Those monster walleyes and bass sure make it fun on the water. Even if you are not allowed to keep them, it must be a real thrill to bring them to the boat.
I need to take a day off work and give it a try.

Congratulations again.

Great stuff! Is it me or does that SM look like a mix between a Bowfin, Walleye and SM?

Pierre...great report. Very nice fish!
What is the size limit on the Walleye where you fish?
The 4th picture down is the size Walleye I'd like for eating. I'd be in heaven with a couple fish like that. I don't necessarily need huge walleye...just good eaters.
Dang them look good.
Catch and serve with lemon.

Hi razz the 4 th picture down is a Walleye 24'' long but the picture does not give full credit of the fish size, we are only allowed to keep under 21''

Hey Marc,
How was your walleye fishing last Saturday ? I heard you on the radio, but did not get a chance to meet you. Hopefully we will someday.
