Who all is fishing the LCI Father's Day Derby?

Post by Lavman »

Count me in! Fishing with my wife and kids, my Dad and a buddy, 3 boats in all bobbing around targeting several species.

This is the first time I have ever fished in the LCI FDD so I am really looking forward to it. We went so far as to rent a camp on Wally's Point for the whole week so I will be fishing the IS from Saturday to Saturday, hoping to catch a few salmon for the grill

Good luck to all and be safe, see ya out there! 8-)

Good luck Lav! It sounds like you've got a great time planned.
I'm stuck on land... carrying a pager, the wife in Maine, and tons of fish in the lake!
Catch and serve with lemon.

Me and the Smells Like Fish NH crew will be getting there Thursday night, pre fishing Friday and will give it hell on Saturday-Monday.

Maybe a dumb question, and I will go check the regs....derby opens at 12:01am Saturday morning....can you start trolling then? In NH you can only fish 1hr before sunrise and 2hrs after sunset.

I read the regulations and it says fishing is legal 24hr except for places listed in the exceptions...yet I cant find the exceptions.

I'm in with my nephew, my fishing buddy Gordon and his son Dylan. I hope we have better luck than the Rotary. We always have a great time and it's good to get the kids involved. They have better eye sight than me so hopefully we won't have any technical difficulties if we let them tie the knots

Thanks Raz! Bummer about being landbound, going to be a scorcher of a weekend, going to have to use the kid's SPF 50 sunblock, maybe 2 coats
