Lake Champlain United - Forums

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if any of you would be able to provide some suggestions for resorts on Lake Champlain that would be good for a nice getaway for my wife, my two year old and myself? I'd be bringing my boat down and would plan on doing some fishing and sightseeing on the lake for sure, but it would also be nice to have the option to take in some local scenery and/or attractions and other outdoors type stuff if available relatively near to the resort (hiking, local shopping, etc.). Docking would be needed as would accommodations.

I really know nothing about the area other than I've heard it is beautiful. I was thinking of spending 3-4 days over a weekend in the summer if that helps.
