4-7-12 4-8-12 Mexico bay

Bit rough saturday but the browns where biting. They always bite good when its rough. Same old stuff Just need a bit of wind too keep them fishing hot.
Sunday slight roll 1 foot nice morning. CLEAR WATER. long leads 2.4 gps no need to run a probe at this point. Blac silver Rapalas Blue silver spoons also did good on copper bikini # 3 needle fish and brown trout color honey bees 15-20 fow lil salmon too the plant Alot of gobies in the bellies. Should be good after the blow we are suppose too get next 2 days

Thanks for the report.........heading over Thursday, hopefully the long-term forecast is wrong....looks like by the weekend it comes from the south for several days...the weatherman never gets it right unless I have a trip planned........ha.....

It's the smallest ones they make. I've had them for maybe 15 yrs or more. Used too use them on Champlain. They just resemble the small gobies they are eating in the bay. Over near the plant. They where eating alewives. More. Anything small copper or brown n white worked.

We sure didn't hook them up like you guys did but we were pretty happy overall!! The wind and waves were just too much for us old farts on Saturday. Sunday started off with a quick double but after that it was a waiting game. Took all day but we got em!!

Saw the Dukdog Alaskan off catfish on sunday looked lie you where in a good area passed you in the pennyan best action for us was in the 15-20 foot area from the creek to pleasant point was ok then scriba boat launch area too bouys did a few off dowie dale too a frame too bait isn't here yet hearin of a few kings in the deeper water but none for me yet

I want to come back over but I'm going to wait til late May if I get back for browns. If I don't I'll come over for salmon in late July or early august. I love fishing over there

See ya then. I will report regular. So keep Lookin. Few kings off o- town heard up to 21 lbs today. Few good brown after the big wind. Beautiful lake today.

I'd heard they were around!! I heard a 12 and a 15 close to the harbor over the weekend.
