3-24-12 Earliest Fishing I've done on Champlain

Post by No Pressure »

We manges 8 fish in the boat yesterday. 4 lakers 3-5 lb. class and 4 salmon, all small 15-17" maybe. The salmon were all off of the boards in front of the state beach on the Inland Sea. Temperature about 47 in 5 feet of water. The lakers were caught just outside the fill near Skyland. We had a great time and didn't get into too much trouble.

Good to see a couple of reports from the Sea. I'll bet there were at least a dozen trailers at the launch. I didn't have much to report but that can still provide valuable info on what didn't work.
