Fishing the past 4 days

Post by FATHEAD »

Taking advantage of the warm weather and lack of work yet and fished for the past 4 days. Been catching a few salmon and a few lakers. All seem to be in the 17-20 inch range. Seen lots of salmon in the shallows but the water is clear and the fish are spooky. Did manage a nice 24.5 inch salmon today weighed 5.7 pounds first nice one for me in awhile. 105 back on planer running rainbow challenger. Most all of the salmon recently have been on planers very few on riggers and dont be afraid to go slow. Fish On!!!!!

Beautiful fish Jeremy!!! Snow just left the yard by the boat about Monday, but, the ground is too wet to drag the trailer out yet. :| Can't wait to go.

That is one hell of a Spring fish Jeremy! I had to opt out this week with this fantastic weather as I had a full schedule on my day off.

Way to go!

Great looking fish! Patience and persistence pays off!
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will go buy a boat.
