No Lucky Leprechaun on the Sea for Us

Post by Black Ghost (Ken) »

Baby Shay and I worked the cowbanks in the fog this morning. when it came to navigation , wish I had the Black Ghost with the autopilot already. Ron thinks I've got a little longer to wait. I have to make do with the G3 for now.

Total skunk. I saw the Plant & Stone truck at the sandbar launch, maybe he found them.

Now looking forward to knowing myself! I had heard gossip about silver at the sandbar but no first-hand accounts. When the surface gets in the 40s things will be more predictable. But the sea has only been kind to me once.

Not even a release. I worked sandbar to cedar to the cowbanks. Cowbanks held the most bait/ activity. But oh man that fog, glad we didn't have an unfortunate get together. I forgot the radio in the truck or would've checked to see who else was out and where (in relation to me) they were. Next time!

We heard a boat buzzing right along off our bow while we were trolling. It was a bit unsettling not seeing the other boat when it sounded so close.
