a day late...

Post by plantstone »

alright, back on the lake after a relaxing florida vaca. time to get serious. though windy on the main land, tuesday was calm on the lake. launched from lewis and had a laker on in minutes by the stone house down 45' . clean, 6 lber - see ya' than a hit on the long line off the mini planer (yes, Ben -- It's proving to be a winnier recently!) healthy fish that made it just out of arms reach. (and then some) that it was??? then, after looping in snake den and heading north, a 3 lb fighting silver on the cheater, 15' down

then, up closer to the unicorn. this 4lb+ salmon made it's way to the boat. it took the long line on the mini planer, little spoon with red this salmon was loaded with lamprey, big, medium, small, scars, etc... not typical of what i catch, but apparently he gets picked on alot. cleaned him and let him try to out swim the next round. you can see part of the 20" lamprey under the net

good day!

Good call on the brown. Could be, I was focused on cleaning off those eels and returning him back. Now looking at the photo?? Thanks for the feedback.

Give me a day or two to think about that spoon name!
