3/14 Wednesday Converse with 4C's

Post by digitroll (ron) »

4 hour trip today from 9:15 am to 1:25 pm. as it was my first float in 3 weeks. Been under the weather fighting a bad cold and cough and still not 100%. 4 trailers at the ramp and nice flat conditions today as Pat and I went thru 3 location changes and lots of delivery changes trying to get the fish to bite. We ended up with a laker each and a draw today. Seemed it was tough for everyone out there but you can't beat the company and nice trolling conditions. Good to get a float in after 3 weeks off the water for my 5th float in 6 weeks. Spring is here. There forecasting 70s Sunday - Tuesday.

Had some nice chat's with Fishing Machine and Fathead. Good luck Todd tomorrow at your favorite spot. :D

Get out there and good luck!

Ron, 5 floats in 6 weeks, that is remarkable.
Sad to hear the fish were not cooperative today.
At least you did better than most of us... you were on the water :) :)
I'l have to give it a try soon.

I'm sure doing what you did, beat what I did.
It was a great day to be on Lake Champlain.

Who could believe that it's the second week of March and we're out fishing in weather like this, unbelievable !!!! Thanks Ron for another good time on the Digitroll and a lot of fun just the same even if the fish didn't cooperate.

Hey, any time on the water is a good time.
Who would have believed boat fishing on Lake Champlain year round.
5 times out before the middle of March is awesome and by reading the reports some have a lot more than that under their belts.
Randy's going to have to add a couple more months to the Frostbite hats.
Was supposed to be up there today but my daughter had to cancel last minute
Going to try for Monday

Love reading the reports and looking at the pictures.
Keep it up guys

Thanks all. The silvers had lockjaw yesterday, but the float was priceless on a calm day in the middle of March.

Record breaking temps are now expected Sat-Wednesday. Should be a lot of shakedown's hitting the water in the next week.

6 weeks till the Bar!
