Late to post as My home computer is down.
Met Al Moorehouse "Fishfarmer" at Bill Snell's "Newhavenbill" to hook up his boat so we three could ride to the launch in one vehicle.
Splashed in about 11:00 at our private launch south of Big Otter. Headed out to the middle zone yacking with Judd at home and Jeremy on the pond with a number of fish aboard from the morning bite. Trolled up to Unicorn before we saw the first action with a salmon and laker on minidivers off the side planer. Both released. We proceeded to make a couple circuits of Split to Unicorn. Two other small boats out, waves but no words from either. Nothing much but another salmon on the turn back south above split. Nice hen 23 inch fish kept.
2:00 PM and time for lunch in Grog Harbor. Today's repast was Tomato, Lemon, Dill soup followed by Lamb stew. Beautiful Day sitting in the sun!
The afternoon was to be a exploring cruise back south. Running the same spread we head to Thompson's and into Townfarm Bay and Long Point. As we go over the reef south of Thompson's we pick another salmon. A spawned out hen. As we got into Gardiner's Island and on the turn Bill took this 22 inch Hook Jaw spawned out male.
Across Kingsland there was lots of debris. In by the Playhouse at Swift's on the turn we pick another laker released.
Salmon taken at Flat Rock or South dock
Down to Big Otter and out at the mudline we had a double on and both LDR. Trolled to the bottom of the delta and pulled at 5:oo.
Looks like they may be spreading out a bit
Beautiful day and lots of laughs and kidding all round. Day finished 5 salmon/ 2 lakers

That kyped male laying on the deck with the big long head could be a barracuda!

Amazing. Love that. Thanks for sharing. I like the signature lunch photo in Grog. You'll have to do a year end (or 20..) recap of all the folks enjoying a nice lunch from in there

Being at a fine restaurant while fishing at the same time!
Can't ask better then this. Do I have to call to reserve a table?
