By the way to anyone attending the seminar,
I will have 4 boxes of CCI 22 Magnum there for trade for spoons or flies, etc.
Don't have my 22 mag gun any more and need more spoons.

What a workshop tonight! Ellen's presentation was incredible! I think she was about the last person to leave tonight out of a record 67 people in attendance! Lot of happy fishermen and ladies!
Big thanks goes out to: Kevin / Darien / Gerry / Andre / Fred / Ken / Bruce / Rob / Bill, and others who brought snacks and food way to numerous to mention. And my boss Jim who lent us the space for the 4 th year in a row!
Thanks everyone who came out tonight to make this a big success!
Special thanks to all of the sponsors that gave generous stuff for our free drawings!

Kudos to a great group of folks that made the workshop possible. A huge thanks to those that extended their condolences about the passing of my Dad. A few kind words goes a long way. It was a good break from the moment.

Fellow forum members:
Thanks for all the positive comments and support. Fred may your Dad rest in peace and thanks for making the event. This event as Mike mentioned (who has been to every one) began very humbly in the man cave with Salmon Seeker, 4C's, ShayDwinds, Salmon Eye, Popster, and Lazy C's taping lures and just hanging out with venison + goose burger on the grill for 3 episodes in 2009 that winter. The guys unselfishly wanted to make this available to others so it wasn't just a private club type outing. We started hosting it at Vt Home in 2010 testing the water with a bigger group each year until last year we opened it up to anyone and everyone who wanted to go. Nice to see first time folks like Cowboy / Brian and others. We kept it at two events so people that missed one could come to the second one or vice versa.
Where else on a winter night can you have this much fun waiting for Spring and the new season to begin?
See everyone March 1st and thanks!

Another great gathering - nice to see everyone and get a chance to visit for a bit. Ellen is doing some great work for the fishery - we are lucky to have her for Lake Champlain.

Pierre emailed me and would like to attend on March 1st. His spoon company "Wave spoons" will be represented in a door prize for the free drawings.
Welcome aboard Pierre and it's nice to have you attend!
We are working on a guest speaker at press time. I will keep everyone posted. Less than 4 weeks away.

Mike Wichrowski from the Vermont Fish n Game will be available to discuss the state of our access areas and answer questions at our March 1st seminar!
We will also have Keith Chamberlain to do a product demo and answer questions about his "Chamberlain Release". We will have a rigger demo on a table for Keith.
Should be a great time again in 3 weeks!

Another exciting workshop is now 2.5 weeks away! That should end the cabin fever with soft water hopefully in March just around the corner.
I have added another donator our wholesale supplier Kellogg Marine to the bulging donation list.
Matt,
The new 150 hp 4 stroke Mercury arrived 10 days ago.
They are building the 196 Fishmaster at Starcraft this week so hopefully a full load of boats will be coming east in March with her TBD. It will be shrink wrapped entirely for it's journey.
The fresh paint on the new vessel should be dry by then.
