Way to go, Andy! Man, you killed some beautiful bucks again this year. Wolverine!!

No "big woods" hunting for me this year, but I had a great season and ended up with a very full freezer.

1st week of VT archery, 106lb doe

3rd week of VT archery, 175# 8pt ... nicest VT rack ever for me

Then off to Montana on an elk/mule deer hunt. 2nd day I shot my 1st ever mulie. The elk never cooperated, unfortunately.

All in all, one of my best seasons.

Shaun thats awsome man, great to hear there's gonna be "plenty of meat on the table this year!" :D. And congrats on that stud VT buck man. Great to hear from ya as always. Glad you shared that, got me thinking about a dream of mine. Always wanted to hunt mulies. Heard the meat is pretty darn tasty? Like I said really glad you shared and anyone else feel free to chime in on this topic and share their harvests, if any. Doesn't have to be big woods or even a buck for that matter, drop em in I'd love to see. Till then shoot straight and often

I'll drop in a couple more here, might as well! Here's this years NH bow harvest from the first week of their season, and the last day! It's probably my favorite season out of the 4 states I hunt. Spans from Sept. 15 all the way thru till Dec. 15 never stopping a day in-between and crossbows are legal for everyone now, not my thing but expands the season for alot of people. I just talked to a couple nice elder gentlemen at runnings who got out because of that reason and harvested a couple great late season bucks with their crossy's! That said I actually got my dad to come hunt over there this year and he got a nice lil velvet 4 pnt the first day!

My dad, Tom White the Man of the Mountains himself! With his 110# velvet 4 pnt and my unique 130# 6 pnt. Now I dont have Facebook but if you do and like outdoorsman stuff he's a great follow. He's a taxidermist, trapper, hunter and basically puts up something to do with the outdoors daily. Im sure he'll be dropping daily updates when we start running the dogs here in January on Cats. Tom White Newfane Vermont, or look up his shop The Rustic Moose Newfane Vermont. And here's my Dec. 15th, last call down to the wire last day NH bow kill. A whopping 160# fully cleaned doe! And there is quite the story here. I'll add at a later date. Bobcat had eaten half of 1 hind quarter and part of the other after she washed up on shore....... to be continued 8-)

Wow, what a HUGE doe, Andy!

I've only had a couple pieces of it so far, but the mulie is very mild! I was surprised, actually, seeing how they live in sagebrush. I figured it would taste like breakfast sausage. :D
