Todd, myself and my buddy Brian were suppose to head out today but we canceled because of the forecast, they were calling for winds 20 to 30 knots out of the south with 2' to 4' waves. No data from Diamond Island but the Colchester reef has recorded winds of 25+mph so I guess better safe then sorry.

Good luck to you guys heading out this weekend and keep an eye on the winds, remember this is VT and the weather changes by the hour. LOL

The weather sure is fickle. The Geezer boat was all loaded up and ready to hit the water again this morning for some salmon activity. The winds blew and the weather guy said 2-4 ft. waves and winds in excess of 24 mph out of the south.. Reluctantly, we had to cancel today. We had a couple differant Crazy Ivans to field test too..
Pat, I share your pain !

Yes I arrived back up to camp late yesterday with plans to wet the boat today. My wife and I were ready to go until I watched the tree tops swaying back & forth this morning. I have learned when to say no way and to give into mother nature.

Well tomorrow's forcast doesn't look too good..

NOOA:.SATURDAY...NORTH WINDS 15 TO 25 KNOTS...INCREASING TO 20 TO
30 KNOTS IN THE AFTERNOON. WAVES 3 TO 5 FEET...BUILDING TO 4 TO
6 FEET IN THE AFTERNOON. RAIN LIKELY IN THE MORNING...THEN RAIN IN
THE AFTERNOON. VISIBILITY 2 TO 4 MILES

But I am willing to wait till morning to make the final call cause the windfinder site doesn't look quite this bad... (and I really wanna fish!)

Reg and Raz, I will call you by 6am if we are canceling...

Hope to see you guys at the launch...
