Post by puddlejumper »

Fished from mid-bay to the sandbars off the Bouquet . Best action was from Langnier point to the sandbars with a slidediver 30 back in the propwash also fish caught on the boards 4 colors with dodger and honeybees. All the fish caught were under 20'' best one was a fat 18" brown that went over 3 1/2 #'s. Hot colors of the day chartreuse/ monkeypuke in the sunshine and pink /purple in the clowd covered portions of the day.

Thanks the report Puddlejumper! Legioners can be hot late in the season. And you wont have traffic there.

Good report Puddlejumper, thanks for the heads up! What was the depth of water you fished over?

we fished in 50 to 100 feet , took 8 fish in propwash off that one slidediver . If I were fishing in my boat I would have set a 4 # ball right down in back of the prop and hooked up direct to my 3 weight fly rod, just to have the experence of watching the fish leap and ZIZZZZ that fly reel.
