Hard Water on Shelburne Pond
Out on Shelburne Pond yesterday. frozen solid 4-6". Not much biting but was good to get out. The ice skaters were having a good time.

Hoping there is some good ice out there for this weekend. Anyone been out after the thaw last week?

Re: Hard Water on Shelburne Pond
Went out there a week or two ago. Definitely a snowshoe type trek across the pond.
just went to the areas immediately to the left of the fish ad game launch. hopped around those few coves and the flat area aftr the rock drop off and only seemed to find fish in only 1 of the many holes I drilled. about a dozen yellows. and fat ones at that.
This is a very nutrient rich water, very murky with plankton/sediment/snow cover and small bugs. Couldn't see very far with the camera.
I bet this is a great place to hit up in the summer??
