I gotta carry a pager this week-end but I'm going to try and sneak out...somewhere, somehow, sometime.
I hope.

I should be spending the weekend around Burlington, as Monday is a holiday in Canada.
I look forward to fish Sunday and Monday. What will be the best place to try: Sandbar, Winoosky, Converse?
I have room for one person on Monday. Let me know if you are interested.

No Champlain for me this weekend as I have to tend to mom as she is having surgery today. But, may sneak out on LG for a few hours and see if I can finally find a salmon mixed in with a bazillion smallmouth. Only have about 50 hours logged in this year on LG and yet to land a silver :( !

Hope everyone has an awesome weekend, FISH ON and hope to hear fall fishing has kicked in on Champ as we will be there when it gets going!

Saturday is booked up for me, I may try and convince my daughter to head out with me on Sunday (wife's away, so there's no escaping, but that's OK, she wants to catch a salmon!). Monday she's in school, and I've got the day off, so I'll be out on Monday with my dad. Last time I was out with him was late spring when we landed our almost 9 lb salmon, what are my chances of duplicating that feat :?:

Not sure where, thinking Converse, just because I rarely fish down there, and I need to get my practice in down there before the shoot-out.

I tentatively am going to try and get out Sunday around 12:30 with my Daughter and her friend + parent for 3 hours out of Converse.

Loading the riggers with short stiks (4 of them) for the kids. Any fish is fair game. Kids don't care if there silver or not.

Boat is hooked up. Heading to Apple Island in the morning. More than likely try Sandbar/Cowbanks. Wind out of the south 5-10, so expect 15-20. Sunset tonight wass amazing. Gotta love Autumn in VT.

I fished LG today (Fri) and left the boat hooked up to the truck as I am now set to head north in the morning to Westport. I expect to be launching out of Westport on Sat. at 9:00 am.

I think there is nice Salmon or two awaiting on me. I am not greedy as one nice keeper of maybe 4 lbs. would be nice for dinner.

I made it out for a few hours Saturday afternoon. No salmon but a few were caught around me.
Ben was with me and we could only muster up White Perch, Smallies, and a Northern.
It was a beautiful afternoon on the Inland Sea...
It'll pick up, no doubt.
Catch and serve with lemon.
