That wouldn't be the first time I've heard of a fish doing that. Aggressive BIG bugger!

Sorry about the loss Matt, too many of know the feeling. Our day will come!

Split rock to whallons was holding alot of bait and lakers on sunday. we couldn't keep them off.

Great fish you harvested there.

Believe me .......I feel your pain Matt! I almost went in the drink last week trying to net with out a doubt a 8 lb Silver in the pouring rain. The BIGGEST Salmon I have seen in Champ yet...he got around the center rigger & hung on for what seemed like eternity. If any body catches a monster with a Watermelon Speedy in its mouth....it was hooked up on the Flashpoint! Lol

we were in whallons monday, and I have never seen so much bait in my life!!!!
