There's no shame in being struck by any medical event. I knew my condition and I announced as loudly as I could. I am also fortunate that it didn't happen a moment earlier as I leaned over my bow to fix the bow line. That could have been a stupid moment since I was alone after dropping my fishing partner at shore and had already taken off my pfd. We were playing it smart with pfd's in the rough water but took them off when were we in trailering mode, which I wouldn't normally do.browntown wrote:Ken,

Ken,
I was out of town in AK and upon returning, your message was the first I read. I am glad so many were there to come to your aid and that now you are doing a great rehab program. I'm sure it also put quite a scare in Sherry and your daughter. I'm glad to hear that motion and use is returning. Keep consistent and get back behind the helm and rod.

I somehow missed this thread Ken. I wish you the best, wish you a speedy recovery, and a full recovery.
It's good to know there were good folks there in your time of need.
I'm sure you can count on the folks of this forum family if you are in need of anything...just ask.
Happy Birthday Ken.
