I fished the lake for the first time in a number of years last week and I caught three fish that seemed to have problems with their eyes. One was a salmon around 15" with one eye all swollen and milky. I also caught two smallies and each one had one red (normal) eye and one colorless-milky eye. One other guy also caught a smaller salmon with a similar eye problem. Is this common, or are we just lucky

? The salmon wre caught in the Sea and the other fish were caught around the Gut.
I'd also like to say that we had a great time in Vermont as usual. evryone we talked to was helpful, our cabins (Cozy Cottages) were great with a dock right in front of the cabin, and there are always planty of fish to keep you busy. We didn't have a lot of luck with salmon, but the smallies and pike gave us some action and even stole a few lures. Thanks to everyone and we are already planning our next trip.
