Two weeks..... Heck right afte ice out.... Fish way in the bay shallow in fron of the cement water outlet..... Pretty much as soon as we can get in there the salmon are there.

Nice! Wish I had time to explore some of the north/ south that's just a bit out of reach.

How far is that from the west shore Grand Isle launch?

From Grand Isle your looking at 1.5-2 hr drive to the launch

Well worth the trip... on a calm day you could launch at red gate on otter creek....... Check out some of the other hot spots on the way down or back its only abot 14 miles by boat..... a nice way to spend the day!

Thanks Todd for the heads up info. Been out around the bridge a couple of times and caught nothing. Went this am and followed your suggestions. Went 6 for 9, and kept 4 fatties. One had 10 alewives in the belly. Your lures are the "Best". Thanks again. Art
