Hi everyone,
Cant wait to get back up to the lake, probably in about 2 weeks for me.
What are the options besides Apple Island and Mallets Bay for me to launch from that area? Are they my only 2 for access to the big part of the lake, not Inland Sea?
thanks in advance!!

If you want to fish the main lake in that area, you can put in at the Grand Isle launch (Vantines) which is just a bit north of the Grand Isle Ferry: http://goo.gl/maps/U6YaZ. It is, however, a fairly exposed launch to winds from the South, West and North. I've had a few hairy landings here when the afternoon winds picked up.

Go to the VT Fish and Wildlife Dept. Website. All state accesses are on there

There's the Winooski River and also a ramp at Holcomb Bay, Isle La Motte.

Capt Mickey Maynard has a good list of launchs on his site for both New York and Vermont. http://www.angelfire.com/home/lake/launch.html
