Rod holders

Post by Reel Therapy »

Well, the wind of late has kept me ashore. I decided to solve a problem I had with my rods. I bought a Berkley rod holder at Dick's and mounted it on some PVC supports I made. This should keep the rods safe when traveling to the lake. Can't wait for that wind to lay down so I can get out there soon!

This is for travel only, would go in the tow rig when I get to the launch. Don't like the idea of the rods flopping around in the boat

I built this for my rods for travel. As I travel to Lake Ontario several weekends a year with overnight stays so i needed lockable storage.A 2x6 and 16- 11/4 pvc J-hooks and screws maybe 20 dollars total keeps up to 8 rods up and away from the rest of my gear in my truck.
