Drift Sock question
I currently have an Alumacraft Trophy 210 with a 200HP that trolls 3mph at idle. I want to get that down to 1.5-2 and run a bag on each side of the boat. Do you think I should run two 18" or 24" to achieve this? Any recommendations? I have ran Amish outfitters in the past on other boats but I'm not sure if they are actually worth the $$. Thanks!

Re: Drift Sock question
I have been using 18" Amish Outfitter bags since 2006 with 3 different motors 115/150/ Now 200 hp since 2020 on a 19 ft boat. I only need one bag for salmon to drop from 3.0 to 2.3 no wind. I don't have any need for a second bag to go 2.0. I only troll for salmon all year. They are the best bag out there for durability and construction! In rough water they help keep the boat more stable as well in big seas.
In your case you might need 24" to get down to 1.5 mph. 24" bags are huge (The downside). If you can use two 18" to slow to 2.0 mph?
